1.   Are there other programs like Minrls?  No.  Minrls is unique.  There are other programs with pictures, but for much more money.  There is at least one other identification program, but less sophistication and, again, for much more money.

2.   What operating system is required for Minrls? Windows 95 or later operating system.

3.   How much memory is required?  Minrls requires a minimum of 64 mb of RAM and 40 mb on your hard drive.  If hard disc space is a problem, you can run directly form the CD and no permanent hard drive space is required.

4.   How secure is my credit card number?  Very safe!  We use a large company that specializes in handling credit card numbers on the internet.  They encode the number before it leaves the web site and only they can decode it.  Not even Bristow Enterprises can see your number!

5.   How long will the download take?  Anywhere from 15 to 90 minutes, depending on your computer and phone line.

6.   Are the tests needed for identification difficult?  No.  The most difficult is density.  Even density can be estimated.  However, it is recommended that you actually measure density.  We have a method that anyone can use with something as simple as a postage scale.  It is included on the density page as a drop-down help item.
