Mineral properties are a snap to find with the Minrls mineral program.  You can go to a mineral Name List or you can enter the mineral Data Bank where all properties are stored.

Mineral Name List...Minrls has nearly 1000 mineral descriptions.  Scroll down a list and click on any name.  A Mineral Description Sheet pops up giving the mineral's properties and (if available) a photograph.  Click on the photo to enlarge as shown below.

Click on a mineral from nearly 1000 names.  Wulfenite is used in this example. A Mineral Description Sheet appears. Click on the picture to enlarge it.  Click "Next" to go back to the list.

                      

Mineral Data Bank....The data bank can be entered at the beginning or at any mineral name.  Once in the data bank, click "Next" to see the next mineral.  You can go all the way through Minrls data bank by clicking only one button!
